His areas of expertise include traumatic brain injury, lumbar spine fracture, cervical stenosis, and intervertebral disc disease. Dr. Ilyas Munshi earned his medical degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago, Illinois, and completed his neurosurgery fellowship at the University of Chicago.

Located in Lafayette, Louisiana, Dr. Munshi performs surgical procedures and provides postoperative care to help patients return to normal activities. Offering compassionate and individualized care, he listens to patients to develop customized treatment plans.
